City Council to Swear in New Police Officers

Havre de Grace City Council meets Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Havre de Grace's City Council gathers at for a rare Tuesday meeting.

The meeting is scheduled to cover a wide variety of topics, including three presentations, three oaths of office, two items of new business, a resolution and a recognition of the Guldenzopf Family.

Tuesday's meeting is the second straight with the intention of recognizing the Guldenzopf Family, which was unable to attend the most recent meeting.

The Mayor and City Council will also swear in two new police officers to the Havre de Grace force, with officers Renee Saul and Sam Richie taking the oath of office.

A license agreement extension with and the introduction of a new event—Oct. 8's Graw Days—are scheduled as new business on the agenda.
