City Council Will Recognize Vulcan Materials

There is only one noteworthy item on Monday's agenda: a recognition of .

Mayor Wayne Dougherty, Council President Bill Martin, Director of Public Works Larry Parks and Deputy Director of Public Works Bill Reeder will make the presentation to Vulcan. Representing the organization that runs Arundel Quarry will be John Smack, Bob Keen, Mike Porter, Benny Bowman, Pat Pieton and Tim Walston.

Vulcan has made its involvement in the community a priority in recent months. It supplied stone for the shoreline of , as well as providing public bicycling with a trail on the Vulcan property.
