Council Agenda: Budget Up For Second Reading

The budget process is expected to come to an end tonight.

Havre de Grace City Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday at , and the fiscal year 2012 budget is on the agenda.

Two presentations are scheduled: Tiffany Robinson, the community development coordinator for the FY 2012 Annual Action Plan, and Timothy Ailsworth, of the Local Government Insurance Trust, with the Training Grant Award.

Also, Jack Fox will be reappointed to the historic preservation commission.

Students from told Patch recently they planned to attend Monday's meeting to address youth issues in Havre de Grace—namely the need for a place to swim and congregate during summer break.

Those comments would be made at the end of the meeting—item No. 18 on the agenda—during public comment from citizens.
