Council Agenda: Election Results, Taxes, Swearing In, President Selection
After setting the tax rate, the council and mayor will be sworn in, and a new president chosen.

The official results for the May 3 election will be released tonight at City Hall during the first City Council meeting since residents elected a mayor and three City Council members.

The council will present three resolutions and four ordinances after two sets of presentations—one involving two awards for the Susquehanna Hose Company, and the other to John Bryant.

Michael Hitchings will be appointed to the planning commission.
The council will move to a closed session to select a president. Bill Martin has served as council president for the past year.

While official election results have not been released by the city, Mayor Wayne Dougherty, Councilman John Correri, Councilman Randy Craig and newly elected Councilwoman Barbara Wagner are listed as those to take the oath of office at the meeting.
