Crash Clears on I-95 Near Exit for MD 155: MDTA

A collision on I-95 in the Havre de Grace area Thursday afternoon caused miles of backups.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A crash before the exit for MD 155 on Interstate 95 caused lane closures and delays for northbound travelers Thursday afternoon.

By 2:30 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) reported that all lanes had reopened and the crash had cleared.

The single-vehicle crash on I-95 north was reported at approximately 1:50 p.m., according to state transportation officials.

A 4-mile backup had stacked up on I-95 north in the area by 2:20 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) reported.

Due to the crash cleanup, the only traffic getting by was in the far right lane; the two left lanes were closed, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA).
