Doors Damaged, Shoplifter Banned, Thefts: HdG Crime

More than $1,000 worth of items were stolen from unlocked vehicles recently, Havre de Grace police say; see those and more crime reports.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD – The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Someone tried to take the doors off a Jeep in the 300 block of Woodduck Court. The vandalism, which was reported before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, caused approximately $500 in damage.

Items were stolen from multiple unlocked vehicles in the 1200 block of Ontario Street. The thefts—which happened between Wednesday, May 11, and Thursday, May 12—were reported a week after the fact. The estimated value of items taken was $1,530.

A 33-year-old Baltimore woman was arrested and charged with trespassing in the 500 block of North Adams Street at 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17.

A person suspected of shoplifting in the 1100 block of Revolution Street was served with an official letter banning her from the premises at 6:24 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17. Stolen items were returned.
