Drive Safe: Wind Warnings in Effect on 4 Maryland Bridges
Some vehicles may require extra care crossing bridges Friday, the Maryland Transportation Authority advises.
Wind warnings are in effect Friday on the Bay, Hatem, Key and Tydings bridges, according to transportation officials.
Winds of 30 to 39 mph trigger wind warnings, issued by the Maryland Transportation Authority.
Drivers of the following vehicles should use extra caution while crossing the bridge during a wind warning: house trailers, box trailers, motorcycles, vehicles with roof-mounted racks containing cargo or any other vehicle that may be subject to high winds.
