DUI Checkpoint Planned for Hatem Bridge
Maryland Transportation Authority advises drivers officers will be on patrol between Harford, Cecil counties.

The Maryland Transportation Authority will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on the Hatem Bridge this weekend.
Authorities said that they will be stationed at the Hatem Bridge toll plaza the evening of Friday, Feb. 5, ensuring that drivers are sober and offering information about the dangers of impaired driving.
The DUI checkpoint is part of a campaign called “40 on 40” that stretches along US 40 from Cecil to Howard counties, in which 40 law enforcement officers will be patrolling the highway, on the lookout for drunk drivers.
