Meeting of the Havre de Grace Historic Preservation Commission. First settled by the English in the mid-1600s, the city has a National Register Historic District that encompasses 1,100 properties. The commission's stated goal is to, "safeguard the local heritage by preserving the cultural, social, economic, political and architectural elements of the local history."
