Fishing Poles Stolen from American Legion: HdG Crime

Three crimes reported in the past few days involved children, according to Havre de Grace police.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD - The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

Three fishing poles were stolen from a boat at the American Legion in the 500 block of Saint John Street. The theft was reported at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 4. Police said the fishing poles were worth $300.

Officials referred a case of child sex abuse in the 800 block of Giles Street to the Harford County Child Advocacy Center on Nov. 9.

After a theft of $5.38 from the 400 block of South Juniata Street, an individual was referred to juvenile services. The incident was reported after 3 p.m. on Nov. 8.

A girl said she was assaulted by strangers while walking home in the 700 block of Congress Avenue. There were no injuries in the assault, which was reported at 8:41 p.m. on Nov. 6.

3 Thefts, Reported; 2 Were from Vehicles

Two Carhartt jackets were stolen from a vehicle in the area of Ontario Street at North Juniata Street. The theft occurred before 1:45 a.m. on Nov. 9. The jackets were estimated to be worth $200.

Bedding was stolen from a vehicle in the 600 block of North Adams Street, reported at 2:11 p.m. on Nov. 5. The bedding was valued at $55.

A cell phone was stolen in the 300 block of Lewis Lane at 4:42 p.m. on Nov. 4.
