Fourth Candidate Files For May Election

Barry Scharbrough is the fourth candidate to announce his candidacy.

A fourth candidate has joined the planning to run for .

Barry L. Scharbrough turned in his paperwork Friday to contend for one of three spots with in the May 8 election.

Scharbrough, 47, is a disabled veteran and resident of . He and his wife have lived in Havre de Grace since 2009. Scharbrough told Patch he is a member of the , the American Legion, the and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He and his wife also volunteer in the community through the Good Cause Foundation.

He joins incumbents Jim Miller and Fred Cullum, and resident Dave Glenn, in the race for three council seats. on March 6—the first day in .

is also up for re-election, but has yet to file.
