Board of Ed: Pat Skebeck To Hall of Fame

The Harford County Board of Education will recognize Patricia L. Skebeck and Beverly Hagner during its meeting Monday.

Skebeck will be inducted into the Harford County Public Schools Educator Hall of Fame as its 172nd member while Hagner will be receiving the School Nutrition Association 2012 Louise Sublette Award of Excellence.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the A.A. Roberty Building in Bel Air.

Monday's agenda includes the affirmation of contracts signed earlier this month by Superintendent Robert Tomback. These consist of the chiller replacements at Havre de Grace Elementary and Church Creek Elementary, the HVAC renovation for North Harford Elementary and the HVAC replacement for Jarrettsville Elementary School.

Also on the agenda is the contract award for upgrading the NCS Pearson Successmaker 5 Mathematics Software.

The annual report from the Citizen Advisory Committees will also be presented, including a request for up-to-date and more accessible information online.
