Harford County Public Schools Revise Weather Decision

UPDATE: Schools in Harford County are closed on Tuesday.

Employees are on code blue and should report at 11 a.m., according to the announcement.

Previously, schools had been planning a delayed opening.

Earlier report—On Tuesday morning, Harford County Public Schools will open two hours late, school officials announced Tuesday morning.

Morning prekindergarten is canceled.

The region was under a winter weather advisory overnight due to freezing rain and below-freezing temperatures, creating potential for icy spots to develop.

“What looks wet may be ice,” the Maryland Transportation Authority reported Tuesday morning. Officials advised using extra caution on the roads.
