Person Died After Reportedly Jumping From Hatem Bridge: Police
One person is believed to have jumped Saturday from the Hatem Bridge.

Police said one person died after reportedly jumping from the Hatem Bridge.
Multiple agencies searched for a person who jumped from the bridge Saturday night, according to the Perryville Police Department. The Hatem Bridge connects Harford and Cecil counties via US 40 over the Susquehanna River.
The Susquehanna Hose Company reported that its crew was participating in the search around 9:45 p.m., along with medical services personnel from Havre de Grace and first responders from Perry Point, Port Deposit and Charlestown. A medevac was called to help too.

The individual was located and pronounced deceased, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported around 10:45 a.m.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Maryland Transportation Authority. The Hatem Bridge office for Maryland Transportation Authority Police is at 410-537-1147.
