Tax Program, 7-Eleven Sign on Tap for Council

At Monday's City Council meeting, Havre de Grace Mayor Wayne Dougherty is expected to introduce a personal tax program for residents and City Council is scheduled to vote on the at the .

Fourteen items are up for discussion under "New Business," including contracts for two city directors—Director of Planning Neal Mills and Director of Finance George DeHority—as well as a contract ammendmend for police .

Eight special events are scheduled to be introduced and four students of the month are set to be honored.

Council is expected to vote on license agreements for two signs—"a ground monument" sign at Legion Square, where the , and another sign at a new business located at 608 S. Union Ave.

Dougherty, during his comment period near the end of the meeting, is scheduled to discuss a "personal property tax credit program" for residents.
