Havre de Grace Group Wins Harford 'Green Star Award'

The HdG Drama Guild was recognized by Harford County for its production of Disney's The Little Mermaid.

The Little Mermaid has gone green.

When the Havre de Grace Drama Guild stages its performance of the popular story next month, 80 percent of the costumes, props and set materials will have been made of recycled materials.

The musical has a theme of "reuse, recycle, repurpose—save the sea!" according to Tom Barnes, Havre de Grace Drama Guild program director.
