Havre de Grace's Proposed Rental Ordinance
The Havre de Grace City Council introduced the ordinance at Monday's meeting.
The City of Havre de Grace could soon have a new ordinance pertaining to rental units.
The ordinance (attached in full PDF version, including "Exhibit A") was introduced at meeting, and was opposed by two council members and . Some landlords are concerned about added fees and burdensome regulation in the proposed rules.
The ordinance is due for a public hearing and work session in the coming weeks:

- Public hearing on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m., before the scheduled City Council meeting
- Public work session on Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
- Proposed second reading of the ammendment at the Dec. 5 City Council meeting
