Havre de Grace to Remember 9/11 With Sunday Ceremony
Sunday's event begins around 8:30 a.m. at City Hall
As events are held all around the country Sunday morning, Havre de Grace will hold its own 9/11 remembrance at City Hall.
According to a statement from the office of Mayor Wayne Dougherty, "We will gather in front of City Hall at 8:30 a.m. and the flag will be raised at the significant time of 8:46 a.m."
Frank Roth, chaplain for the Susquehanna Hose Company, will lead a prayer and a remembrance flag—presented to the city at Monday's City Council meeting—will be raised and left flying until sunset on Sept. 30.
