HdG Crime: Valium Pinched from Car, Bikes Stolen from Yards

A vehicle stolen from Aberdeen was found on Erie Street, a thief was captured on tape and other crimes were reported to the HdG PD.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

Two Roadmaster bikes were stolen from a yard in the 700 block of Lewis Street. One was teal; the other was gray and orange. The theft was reported after 1 p.m. on Sept. 12. Neither bike was locked.

Six Valium pills and $50 in cash were stolen from a white Ford Fusion in the 200 block of Mallard Court, reported at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Sept. 12.

A vehicle was recovered in Havre de Grace that had been reported stolen from the 1800 block of Carsins Run Road on Aug. 31. The gray Ford F-150 was parked in the 900 block of Erie Street for nearly two weeks, found after 4 p.m. on Sept. 11.

A theft occurred in the 300 block of Franklin Street on Sept. 10. The person who reported the incident the following day said it was recorded on tape and the suspect, who took various items, was known to the victim.

A 50-inch television was stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of Battery Drive. The theft was reported before 10 p.m. on Sept. 10. There were no signs of forced entry. The estimated value of the RCA TV was $500.

A temporary paper tag was stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway, reported after 7 p.m. on Sept. 10.

A bike was stolen from a porch in the 500 block of Bourbon Street. The 26-inch silver bike was not secured. The theft was reported at 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 9. The estimated value was $150.

A wallet was reported stolen from the 600 block of Hoppers Lane at 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 9.

A 21-year-old man from the 400 block of Battery Drive was served with a warrant charging him with first and second-degree assault on Sept. 9 at the Harford County Detention Center. The alleged assault occurred Sept. 5.
