HdG Firefighters To Shave Heads For Charity

The Susquehanna Hose Company is participating in the St. Baldrick's fundraiser on Saturday in Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Members of the Susquehanna Hose Company will shave their heads this weekend to help kids with cancer.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation raises money for cancer research that focuses on children.

In a show of support, firefighters will shave their heads as part of an awareness raising event and fundraiser for St. Baldrick's Foundation.

The head shaving will begin at 12:15 p.m.

The event to benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation will be from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at Bill Bateman's Bistro, 2021 Pulaski Highway, Havre de Grace.
