HdG Students, VFW Members Ask for Help Assembling Care Packages
Looking to volunteer and show love to the troops? Havre de Grace Middle School students and VFW offer opportunity.
We Need Your Help!
HDG Middle School 6th Grade Social Studies Service Project:
On January 10th, we had a group of students present their service project idea to send care packages overseas to the Maryland National Guard 29th Infantry; over the next couple months there will be approximately 200 troops from the guard overseas! The Goal would be to send as many care packages as possible, we would like to hit the goal of 200.
You can help with donations of non-perishable goods, reading material, games, playing cards, wipes, toiletries, candy or you can donate money and we will take care of getting items together. We will need a lot of boxes, the size of shoe boxes; if you have any connections with USPS, UPS or FedEx to get boxes please let us know.
