HdG School Construction Project To Begin In April

Get ready for bulldozers - the Havre de Grace Middle High School construction project is about to get started.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A date has been set for the groundbreaking of the new Havre de Grace Middle High School. In the meantime, construction equipment and workers have converged at the site to prepare it for the big day.

The official groundbreaking is set for 1 to 2 p.m. on April 12, The Aegis reports, with the school opening by 2020.

The replacement school is funded by the state and county and has been years in the making.
