Kick off the holiday season with the Havre de Grace Jolly Holidays! From the Holiday Tree Jubilee, the Holly Jolly Parade, markets around the city, to concerts and shows at the STAR and Opera House, there is something for everyone! And don't forget the Candlelight Tour, carriage rides and Harmer's Town Christmas.
The annual Holly Jolly Parade will kick off the season on Dec 6 at 6 PM. The Parade will travel down St John St to Pennington Ave, bringing Santa to his new home at 450 Pennington Ave. Santa will light the Christmas tree and meet with the children.
Weekends are full of opportunities for fun and finding that unique gift. There is the Holly Jolly Village in David Craig Park. This warm, heated tent will have music, venders, hot toddies and a beer garden. There are plenty of activities as Holiday Bingo on Dec 8 and Children's Bingo on Dec 14 and an ice carving demonstration also on Dec 14. The Merry Marketplace will be located along Franklin Street, with even more venders and store specials. Josephs Christmas Market will have a train garden and hot chocolate for kids of all ages to enjoy.
