House of Cards Filming in Downtown Havre de Grace
The Netflix series returns to the city for the second time in a month.

Camera crews, set designers and actors converged in Havre de Grace Thursday to film scenes for the third season of Netflix hit series House of Cards.
The temporary Havre de Grace Library branch on Market Street was transformed into a film set, according to the Tidewater Marina.
“it was quite a thing to see,” according to the Tidewater Marina, which posted photos from the filming.

The film crew will remain in town on Friday, The Aegis reported, with locations possibly including the historic district. The newspaper said that a private residence was part of the filming on Thursday and that late-night scenes were possible.
House of Cards stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright as Frank and Claire Underwood, playing roles as an ambitious politician and his wife, in a political drama that started filming in Harford County in 2012 and returned in 2013 for its second season.

The crew was in Havre de Grace and Level filming in early October, when Spacey was in town. On Thursday, it appeared that Wright was filming in the library.
