Man Dies 3 Days After Havre de Grace Shooting: Police

Police said that a man was killed in a shooting in Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Police said the man shot in Havre de Grace over the weekend has died. Law enforcement officials said there was no threat to the public.

Mark Jeffrey Coudon, 61, was found shot around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, according to police.

Medical personnel had been called to the 200 block of North Washington Street for a person with a laceration and found Coudon injured from gunshots, officials reported.

Coudon was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where police said he was pronounced deceased on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled the death a homicide, police reported on Thursday, Nov. 15.

Detectives are actively investigating and believe the incident was isolated, according to law enforcement.

"At this time we believe this is an isolated incident," the Havre de Grace Police Department said in a statement.
