The Tydings Bridge connects Harford and Cecil counties over the Susquehanna River along Interstate 95.
This is not the first person who has tried to take his life on the bridge.
Last summer, a Maryland State Police trooper saw a man walking on the southbound side of Tydings Bridge and lunged to save the man who was preparing to jump.
