Gunman Sentenced After Firing Nearly 2 Dozen Shots In Death Of Edgewood Man
A Nottingham man has been sentenced in connection to the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Angello Osborne of Edgewood.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A Nottingham man has been sentenced in the fatal shooting of 38-year-old Angello Osborne of Edgewood, who had nearly two dozen bullets shot at him.
Prosecutors said that on April 12, 2022, around 9 p.m., Osborne was fatally shot outside his home in the 100 block of Reider Court. The Harford County Sheriff's Office's investigation revealed that 22 shots were fired in the direction of the victim, three of which struck him in the back, ultimately leading to his death.
Detectives eventually identified Anthony Sean Ross, 32, as the suspect.

After a five-day jury trial, Ross was convicted of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and related firearms charges. On April 29, Anthony Sean Ross, 32, of was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole plus a consecutive 20 years following his February 2025 conviction for first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and related firearms charges.
“Life without the possibility of parole is the maximum sentence allowable by law in Maryland and was absolutely appropriate for this senseless killing. Today closes a very long and grueling chapter for this victim’s family, and I hope they can find some peace knowing the Anthony Ross will never walk the streets of our community again," State’s Attorney Alison M. Healey said.
