Medline Hosting Job Fair In Havre de Grace

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Medline Industries will hold a hiring event in Havre de Grace on Wednesday, May 2. The medical product supply company is looking for candidates to work as warehouse shipping and receiving operators.

Candidates who are hardworking team players are wanted for all shifts in positions that are available immediately.

Medline manufactures and distributes more than 550,000 products for health care providers. One recent offering was fentanyl-resistant gloves for first responders who are on the front lines handling opioid overdose calls.

With headquarters in Illinois and presence across the globe, Medline has a distribution center in Havre de Grace, where the hiring event will be held.

Prior warehouse experience with shipping or receiving is preferred, including work operating a hand truck, forklift, reach truck, walkie rider, cart and/or order picker, among others.

Qualifications include the ability to do the following:

• Read labels, packing slips and other warehouse documents
• Speak, read and comprehend English
• Be able to pass a drug test, assessment and background check

Pay is $12.50 to $14.50 an hour to start, plus there's a $600 sign-on bonus. There are also performance-based incentives and benefits such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance, 401(K) plans and tuition reimbursement.

The Medline distribution center is currently in Havre de Grace and will be moving in 2019 to a 1.1-million-square-foot facility in Principio Business Park in Perryville.

The hiring event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, at Medline Distribution Center, 2000 Rock Glenn Boulevard, Havre de Grace.
