Meeting Set To Discuss New High School
A study to explore a new Havre de Grace High School has been funded.

The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. on March 21 at the auditorium.
The school system's Fiscal Year 2012 budget was approved with a feasibility study on a new high school included.

According to a statement from , the meeting "is to outline the process and the timeline of the scope study process."
That study, according to Harford County Public Schools, would "evaluate the existing conditions of the two building school facility, collect and review community input, and make recommendations to the Board of Education for a concept plan to redevelop the campus sometime in the future to better suit the current educational program delivery. The intent is that the proposed concept plan will preserve the history and heritage of this school as a community symbol as well as to enhance the landscape of the urban environment."
