The latest addition to David Craig Park is designed to entice green travelers.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Electric vehicles have a new place to go in Havre de Grace. The city has installed an electric vehicle charging station at David Craig Park on North Union Avenue.

The device can charge two electric vehicles for $2 an hour and its presence is part of a larger strategy to make Havre de Grace more environmentally friendly.

"We are increasing tourism while at the same time encouraging green travel," Mayor William Martin said in a statement.
