Wednesday pick up includes Ontario Street and areas west of Route 40, including Grace Harbor, Oak Tree Drive, Bayview Estates, Mt. Pleasant, Meadows of Bulle Rock and The Paddocks.

Appliances and metal will be picked up on Wednesdays. Call the city's department of public works by 2 p.m. on Tuesday to get on the list for Wednesday pick up. Appliances and metal items should be placed where you normally leave your trash and recyclables.

Recycling will be collected on Thursdays. Recycling cans should be placed in the same place as trash cans and designated with a recycling sticker or a large "X" on the side of the can.

Yard waste will be collected on Fridays.

All items to be picked up should be left out after 6 p.m. the evening before, and no later than 7 a.m. on the day of pick up.

When collection falls on one of eight holidays (Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July), collection will shift to the following day.

Fall cleanup days will be held Sept. 3 and Sept. 24 at the Community Center on Lagaret Lane.
