An out-of-state man has been charged in a burglary and assault in Havre de Grace and is being held without bail in Harford County.

BEL AIR, MD — The man accused of jumping off the Hatem Bridge after a police chase from Havre de Grace has officially been charged. Immediately after the June 15 incident, police said the man was hospitalized and had not been charged as a result.

Jones was accused of assaulting someone in the 200 block of Seneca Avenue around 7:17 p.m on Friday, June 15, then leading police on a chase to the Hatem Bridge, during which he crashed into multiple vehicles.
