• Thieves open fire on homeowner in Havre de Grace gated community (wmar2news.com) — Residents in Havre de Grace should know that vehicle thieves targeted the Bulle Rock gated community over the weekend and fired several shots at a homeowner who interrupted them, though no one was hurt. Police say the suspects, dressed in dark clothing and masks, bypassed the gate, stole at least one vehicle, and are asking anyone with information to contact the Havre de Grace Police Department.

• Maryland's Havre de Grace packs a lighthouse, museums, and piers into one mile (wheninyourstate.com) — If you live in Havre de Grace, this piece is essentially a walking guide to your own waterfront, from Concord Point Lighthouse and the promenade to Tydings Park's boat ramp and playground. It also highlights the Decoy Museum, new Graw Alley Art Park, First Friday street closures, and nearby Steppingstone Farm Museum and skipjack Martha Lewis, giving residents ideas for outings and hosting visitors.

• Rising Sun's late comeback attempt falls short vs. Patterson Mill (somdnews.com) — Rising Sun's football team nearly erased an 18-point deficit against Patterson Mill before a late touchdown sealed the Tigers' loss.
