Robin Hood Road Closure Ends, Work Continues

Robin Hood Road has reopened but travelers may experience delays due to ongoing roadwork, Harford County Department of Public Works announced in a statement this week.

Since July, Robin Hood Road had been closed for maintenance.

Upgrades were necessary to make the road safe for an increasing number of travelers, according to Explore Harford, which reported that Harford County spent $1.6 million and more time than it anticipated to widen and flatten the road.

Flagging operations are in place as the project wraps up over the next few months.
