UPDATED: Schedule for Havre de Grace Independence Celebration
Parade, carnival, concert are on tap July 5 in HdG.

Most of the Fourth of July festivities are actually happening on July 5 in Havre de Grace this summer.
All activities are free, except rides at the carnival.

Parade
The parade starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 5. It begins on Union Avenue at Warren Street and travels along Union Avenue to Tydings Park.
Concert
Band Head Rush will play at the City Yacht Basin starting at 7 p.m. on July 5 before the fireworks.

Fireworks
UPDATE: The fireworks show has been canceled due to saturated conditions. It was scheduled to begin at dusk—approximately 9:30 p.m.—on Sunday, July 5, with viewpoints from Tydings Park, the City Yacht Basin or Promenade.
Carnival
The carnival will be at Tydings Park from Wednesday, July 1, through Sunday, July 5.
Hours are 6-10:30 p.m. Wednesday to Friday and 4-10:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free, while rides require tickets that can be purchased at the carnival. Credit cards are accepted.
Tickets are $1.50 for one; $35 for a 30-ticket sheet; $55 for a 50-ticket sheet; and $5 off on a ticket sheet with a coupon. Wristbands will allow for unlimited rides and cost $24 Wednesday to Saturday and $25 on Sunday. Coupons are available at the Havre de Grace Activity Center, Frank’s Pizza, Havre de Grace Chamber of Commerce Office and other businesses. A $4 discount coupon is available for Wednesday and Thursday, and coupons are not applicable Friday through Sunday.
