Suspected Upskirt Photographer At HdG Grocery Store: Info Wanted
Police say the search for a suspect is still on in Havre de Grace after a man tried to take a photo up a woman's skirt with his phone.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Police have asked for help identifying a man who authorities suspect may have been trying to take an "upskirt" photograph in a grocery store in Havre de Grace. Officials said that they have not filed any charges and are trying to identify the man as part of the investigation.
Authorities became involved after a woman made a disturbing discovery while shopping in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway. She was walking down an aisle in the Weis market when a man came up behind her and put his cell phone between her legs, according to police.
The man "attempted to take a photograph up her skirt of her private area," officials reported.

She screamed, and other shoppers came to her aid, according to authorities.
Afterward, police said the man clutched a basket and kept his head down, appearing to avoid eye contact with anyone as he left the store. Once outside, he ran to his vehicle, then got in and sped away in his silver four-door car with roof rack.

He is described as about 50 years old with white or gray hair.

Officers were called at 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, for a report of suspicious activity in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway.
It has been two weeks since then, and police said there were no updates to report as of Wednesday, Oct. 8.
"There have been no further incidents reported of this nature," Corporal Kenneth Terry told Patch Wednesday. "We do still need the public’s help with identifying the suspect."
