Now that the , Patch takes a look at what is to come in the future of the scope study.
Teri Kranefeld, manager of communications for Harford County Public Schools, told Patch that the meeting was postponed, and outlined a general order of operations for the study—which was included in Harford County's Fiscal Year 2012 budget.

Here are some general steps to come in the process:
- Scope Study Phase. HCPS assesses the existing facility to consider cocepts and options, including replacement or modernization.
- Scope Study Analysis. Architects and engineers work with a Scope Study Committee, comprised of community stakeholders. The analysis will allow for feedback on the concepts and recommendations.
- Conceptual options presented to Harford County Board of Education.
- If adopted by Board of Education, the proposal will be considered for future capital projects.
- Capital funding would need to be appropriated for the project.
- Design drawing created around a community forum for input, kicking off the design stage.
Kranefeld told in an email Wednesday, "More information will be forthcoming as the project progresses."
