Two Fishermen Rescued on Susquehanna River, Officials Say
First responders handled a water rescue Sunday night near the Susquehanna State Park.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Two fishermen were rescued from high water near Susquehanna State Park Sunday evening, officials said.
At 9:24 p.m., several fire companies from Harford and Cecil counties were dispatched to the Susquehanna River at Stafford Road, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. The technical rescue team also responded.
Both fishermen were located and rescued, and nobody was injured, Chenworth said.
