Two HdG Wedding Venues Receive 2015 Couple's Choice Award

Two Havre de Grace venues were among 71 wedding destinations recognized as the crème de la crème of the Baltimore area.

Swan Harbor Farm and La Banque de Fleuve both received the 2015 Couple’s Choice Award from Wedding Wire, the online marketplace for wedding professionals. Wedding Wire said it bestows the award upon the top 5 percent of wedding service providers based on reviews.

Managed by the Harford County Department of Parks and Recreation, Swan Harbor Farm is located on 531 acres off Oakington Road, overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.

A restored farmhouse from the 1700s, reception tent, gazebo and fishing pier are among the special features.

The Saint John Street venue was previously a First National Bank built in 1904.
