Two Sex Assaults, Two Thefts from Boats, Two Bikes Stolen: HdG Crime

Coffee shop wall graffitied with Sharpie, meds stolen during nap and other incidents reported to the Havre de Grace Police this week.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

A baby blue woman's bicycle was stolen from a driveway in the 500 block of Market Street, reported after 3 a.m. on Thursday, July 21.

There was a gas can worth $50 stolen from a boat in the 300 block of Commerce Street. The theft was reported at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20.

A blue Mongoose bike with red shocks was stolen from the 600 block of Lafayette Street, reported at 10:05 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20. The bicycle was estimated to be worth $200.

A truck window was smashed in the 600 block of Bourbon Street. The window will cost approximately $500 to replace. The vandalism was reported at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20.

A gas can was stolen from a boat in the 300 block of Commerce Street. The can was worth $92, and the theft was reported at approximately 5:55 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20.

There was a sexual assault reported before 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20. The woman, who was in the 500 block of South Union Avenue at the time authorities were called, did not know where it happened.

Someone banned from a coffee shop in the 200 block of North Washington Street wrote on the exterior wall of the business with Sharpie. The vandalism was reported at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19.

After awakening from a nap, someone discovered prescription medications and cash had been stolen. The theft in the 600 block of Hoppers Lane was reported at 9:05 p.m. on Monday, July 18.

A 22-year-old from the Weatherby Road in Bel Air was cited for possession of under 10 grams of marijuana. Officers were in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, when the man was stopped in the McDonald's parking lot initially for not having headlights.

After 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, a 46-year-old man from Robinhood Road was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and other offenses. The traffic stop occurred in the 700 block of Otsego Street.

A 51-year-old Rosedale woman was charged with DUI after police responded to a fender bender in the 1500 block of Blenheim Farm Lane at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 16.

A person reporting a sexual assault in the 400 block of Village Drive was referred to the Harford County Child Advocacy Center just before 9 p.m. on Friday, July 15.

A laptop was damaged in the 500 block of Green Street on Friday, July 15.

Just before 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 15, an assault was reported in the 500 block of Girard Street. One person was referred to the commissioner.
