Vehicle Submerged Near Amtrak Bridge Was Stolen: Police
Two cases of identity theft, a pricey break-in to a car and a stolen vehicle that ended up in the Susquehanna River were reported to HdG PD.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace provided the following information about recent incidents.
A motor vehicle was reported stolen to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. An unknown person parked the vehicle along the shoreline at Jean S. Roberts Memorial Park. At 8:11 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, a witness in the area of Water Street at Union Avenue heard a splash and saw the vehicle enter the Susquehanna River. Nobody was inside the car, and the incident remains under investigation, police said Thursday, June 15.
Someone tried to transfer $450 from an account to another country. The theft was reported at 8:01 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, in the 400 block of Heather Way.

An iPad and other electronics worth $1,399 were stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Gallant Fox Drive. A passenger window had been broken. The theft was reported at 10:31 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14.
Identity theft was reported in the 1100 block of Chesapeake Drive. Someone made $400 in unauthorized charges on an account, reported before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13.
