Was That Air Force One Circling APG?
Doing practice landings and take-offs, one plane in President's fleet was in the area Wednesday.

But the plane circling Aberdeen during lunchtime Wednesday wasn't here to test for pollution.
Known to use Aberdeen Proving Ground regularly, Air Force One bears a striking resemblance to the craft that flew a clockwise pattern around Aberdeen shortly after noon, making a half-dozen to a dozen appearances above the city after touch-and-go landings on Aberdeen Proving Ground.

"Occasionally APG's Phillips Army Airfield is used by pilots of Air Force One for training purposes," George Mercer, chief of Public Affairs for Aberdeen Proving Ground, said in an email to Patch. "The training activity is referred to as 'Touch and Gos'. It is a routine training activity and has been performed here for many years. They use other facilities for this type of training as well."
