Water Rescue Near Promenade Complete: Officials
Authorities said a person in need of rescue was assisted near the Concord Point Lighthouse.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — First responders from the Susquehanna Hose Company were called to an incident near the Havre de Grace Promenade Sunday evening, according to officials, who said a crew already out on the water provided assistance.
At 5:10 p.m., the hose company reported that its boat Marine 552 was on the way to the Promenade, where someone was in need of a rescue from the Chesapeake Bay.
One person was reportedly in the water, the Susquehanna Hose Company said, and a sailboat crew rescued the victim before first responders arrived. No emergency medical assistance was required.
