UPDATED: Winds Trigger Warnings on Maryland Bridges
BREAKING: Transportation officials have wind-related measures in place at four Maryland bridges Thursday afternoon.

As winds gust across the region, there are advisories in place Thursday to keep drivers safe on a handful of Maryland bridges. The Bay, Hatem, Key, Nice and Tydings bridges are affected.
The Tydings Bridge is under limited restrictions, the Maryland Transportation Authority reported after 5 p.m.
Winds of 40 to 49 mph trigger limited wind restrictions, meaning these are prohibited: house trailers, empty box trailers or any other vehicle that officials say may not safely cross. Drivers denied passage will be given assistance so they can safely turn around.
