Yacht Basin Dredging Nearing Completion

The clearing of the main channel into the City Yacht Basin could be complete next week.

Larry Parks, director of public works for , told Tuesday afternoon that the dredging of the channel into the marina should be done by the middle of next week.

Parks said Ray Nornes, Inc. of Berlin, MD—the company contracted to do the dredging—will clear out the area around next. The same company dredged the last winter.
