8 Injured in Parkton Car Crash
A vehicle traveling southbound on I-83 crossed the center line and hit another vehicle traveling northbound, according to state police.
Eight people were injured Wednesday morning following a car crash on Interstate 83 in Parkton, Maryland State Police said.
A vehicle traveling southbound, between exits 33 and 36, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle headed northbound at around 9:15 a.m., police said.
The injured were transported to York Hospital and Greater Baltimore Medical Center to be treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to state police.

A police spokesman said both lanes of I-83 had to be closed temporarily, but have since reopened as of 10:40 a.m.
