Baltimore County Police: Officer Injured By Fleeing Suspect

Around 5:20pm, Tuesday, November 20, officers in the 6900 block of Blanche Rd., pulled a vehicle over for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle then attempted to flee the scene, striking another police vehicle and injuring the officer in that vehicle. As a result, an officer discharged their weapon during the incident. No one was struck by the officer’s gunfire. The suspect was then taken into custody. The officer was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
