Remember the last two businessmen who were elected president?  They were George “Two Wars & Two Towers” W. Bush and Herbert “Chicken in Every Pot” Hoover.  They presided over the two largest economic downturns in American history.

Former Oakland Raider defensive end Anthony Wayne Smith was charged with four murders just in time to win the NFL’s new monthly award.  The NFL has initiated the Felony of the Month citation and Smith is now the favorite to obtain the coveted O.J. Simpson Trophy in a halftime ceremony at 2013 Super Bowl.  The idea of a Concussion of the Week in the NFL is gathering momentum; Las Vegas has odds out on Drew Brees as the first award winner.

On ObamaCare, consider this: Over the last half-century at least, Americans have run for this disease and biked for that disease, they’ve swam for another disease and walked for yet another disease.  And too, American citizens telephoned for cancer in general and breast cancer, for diabetes and muscular dystrophy, for disabled veterans and birth defects.  In all, billions and billions of dollars were raised for research.  And too, Congress provided billions more of (our) tax dollars for research at Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania, UCLA, et al.  So why can’t every American have the same healthcare package as Congress?

There has been a decrease in sexual abuse since the jailing of Jerry Sandusky.  Maybe if priests were being jailed, it could be wiped out completely.

Tea Party Mantra: Reduce the size of government but don’t touch my Medicare or Social Security.  The original Tea Party threw something overboard, but not this group.  What ever happened to Sarah Palin?

This election—national and otherwise—is going to boil down to the  stance taken by candidates on circumcision.
