Why I Don't Subscribe to Newspapers

I didn't say I don't read newspapers but, I haven't purchased a newspaper in years. The reason is there are so many free news apps that I read on my iPhone and iPad that it would be ridiculous for me to buy a newspaper.

Additionally, why destroy trees unnecessarily and pollute the environment with newsprint? No need to go outside or send the dog to get the paper in the rain, look for it behind the bushes, etc.

To put any of the apps on the picture to the right go to the app store on your device and search for the app by name such as "USA Today".  A few of the apps cost money such as "Drudge" but the cost is nominal; usually less than a couple dollars.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to give them.  Oh, yes, by the way I do feel for the newspapers, because I don't know ultimately how they are going to stay in business.
