Have Your Kids Learn Karate this Winter Break

Charm City Karate is hosting a karate camp from Dec. 26 through Dec. 30.

With winter break just around the corner, how are you planning to entertain the kids?

From Dec. 26 through Dec. 30, is hosting a karate camp for kids ages 5 to 11, according to Robert Smith, a representative from the school. The program runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and costs $180 for the week or $40 per day. But it also includes a free class on Dec. 26.

"Charm City Karate takes pride in the fact that we serve diverse students from the local community through the positive spreading of the American Kenpo Karate style, which endorses increased confidence, physical activity, self-awareness and endurance," Smith wrote to Patch in an email.

The karate school, located at 50 Scott Adam Road in Cockeysville, is also offering a free community class on Dec. 26 at 6 p.m. so interested parents can join in on the fun.
